For ice skating the minimum age is 15 by July 1 (or 30th, I don't feel like looking it up) of the previous year. So as long as she had turned 15 by this date in 2013 she is legal.

My 10 year old took a nasty spill yesterday while boarding. I cannot imagine not putting a helmet on him. I learned to ski without one but now wear one too. Have to set a good example!!And this is why I cringe when I go snowboarding and see people not wearing helmets - especially young kids. It's not cool to wear a helmet? How cool is it to have serious brain damage from a fall? :mad: Just wear it.
