SOOO... Good sportsmanship this weekend..
I saw many girls in priority for gyms other than their own. And they were actually cheering for them.
I talked to a few CJA girls that were SO friendly.

Also, I saw a few fiercers around the comp but I was either too busy or scared to say anything haha. There were quite a few GA girls at the airport this morning with fierce bows and I'm totally regretting not saying anything :/

For those asking for updates on the Jersey cheerleader...she has Orbital fractures. She will be having surgery in about a week, once the swelling goes down.

My thoughts and prayers go out to her!

What an amazing weekend with lots of amazing routines put on by everyone! It was nice to see a bunch of friends again and make many new ones too. My fav memory would be watching my gym (Cheer Intensity's) Youth 2 on the second day. they were in first after day 1 with a stunt fall. day two they came out and were flawless, not a single mistake. When they hit there halfups to extention which they have been having trouble with all hit i started geting all teary eyed. When they hit they got to the dance the tears were streaming down my cheek. This team has been having a tough time this season and to finaly see them win at a national was priceless. these little munchkins work so hard and i love them. so proud!!!

Not sure if anyone heard about the girl from Spirit that had broken her leg in warmups. She was doing good out of surgery and was going to come home today. But my mom just got a text that she was put back into another emergency surgery that had some serious complications, and almost lost her leg (she did not).. Not sure what is going on now, that was all the text said, waiting to hear back from her dad but please please keep her in your prayers. She used to cheer at are gym and her and her father are still very very close with us!!!

Just got word that she is back out of surgery and doing good. She will be spending the rest of the week in M.D. but is doing much better. Please keep sending prayers to her and that girl from Jersey!! It's just terrible that there where 2 serious injuries in 1 weekend, especially when it was cause the kids where doing something they love!!

all star challenge doesnt do deductions. if you have 9 stunts and 1 falls you get scored for 8.

That's not true actually... Under the "execution" category is where you get your deductions, there are set values that will be deducted for certain performance errors... And then then you are scored separately for your technique

This is an email Nicole's mom has requested that I post because she was was very upset by what was being discussed on the board:

Shame on all of you who are worried about whether Jersey should have started over, what place they should be in, what other teams were allowed etc. You should all get your priorities straight. While you are arguing over rules and who should have won, I am calling insurance companies and specialists to see who will perform surgery on my daughter's face and eye. I would not wish this on my worst enemy. At the end of the day we are all moms with daughters who cheer. I would have gladly taken last place and have my daughter healthy. Shame on those who can't keep perspective of what's important!

HAHA! They were orange, but yea. Everyone was being all superstitious about the day we hit perfect in myrtle. so they said do everything the same. so i said fine, orange undies it is.
