Would it be better or worse if the board didn't exist? Personally, I'm SO for worse.

You are following. For the board TO exist it must have moderation. There will always be disagreements on what is moderated, but that is the name of the game. If the 'censorship' becomes too much than someone would just go create a rival board (feel free, there are lots of good hosting services out there). But what makes this one successful is the combination of a lot of different pieces. Take away some of the pieces and it will cease to be successful.

It is actually the goal of the admins and moderators to delete only the posts that matter most to you. We really try extra hard to make sure when we do delete it is a personal blow to whoever's post was deleted.

The staff has reviewed it and that post really didn't mean that much to you... so we left it.

I'm just wondering if anyone else found it ironic or uncanny timing that the Boards crashed shortly after kingston made that post?
