I do. As a youth cheerleader at the time...that was always the worst. We didn't have signs though but I began at the end of that era. When I was a youth..they had two separate divisions..one was all music, the other stopped for the cheer and you could choose which division you wanted. The cheer was also on the scoresheet whether it was all music or notI wonder how many on this board actually remember when routines were 1:15 of music and there was a cheer with signs etc.

Matt Mcgrath did full-full and a half- to double in '03 (hard floor)
Ambrel did Arabian to full double in '04
Amanda White, Kati Smith- girls who were throwing one to doubles on hard floor in 2000
Shooting Stars threw more standing tumbling to double in 2005 than some Large Senior teams do in 2012
I'm sorry, but it is hard to give current teams all of this praise when we have seen it done, on hard floor, 8 years ago...
What's really strange to think is that in 15 years, the current cheerlebrities could be unknown. That's actually a pretty scary thought.
The fact you referred to Speedy and those legs just made my night.Matt McGrath = amazing and he is STILL COMPETING...WOW. How about Robbie Gregory!? Did more doubles in his standing pass than some teams do in their routine! Poster child, I'm gonna go with "Speedy" ;) I remember Fat Tuesdays and the free sandwich made me smile! Southwest doing squad jumps to back. And dare I say, who remembers DOUBLE BACKS and even some FULL INS (yes, on HARD FLOOR)
I wonder how many on this board actually remember when routines were 1:15 of music and there was a cheer with signs etc.
