Devastated that it's over! 6 episodes wasn't enough for me :( maybe if there's another season, they'll start a little earlier in the cheer season? I'd like to maybe see how they go about team selection and tryouts, even just briefly :)

Aaaah, thank you. Most definitely a better option IMO. More expensive but made avoiding the All-Star resort debacle a little easier (not that PA's athletes would have been involved in that anyway, not from the tight leash she keeps on her organization at comps).

I love those girls like they were one of my teams lol. What a great show. CJA is a perfect program to represent all star cheer IMO.

CJA is one fantastic program from parents, coaches, athletes and of course Patty Ann. She loves those girls like her own children and she is tough on them. Can't wait for season 2 of Cheer.

Would love to see this show visit a different gym every year... Think it would keep the show from plateauing as well as show different teams journeys. Either way, I love CJA and love the light in which this show portrays what we do and love...

I think the reason this show worked so well is because of the kind of program PA runs and the kind of coach she is. I have mixed feelings about them revisiting them for a second season; although I personally could watch PA coach every day all season long, I'm not sure a second season would be as enjoyable to watch at CJA or at any other gym because as with any reality show, people tend to be a little more aware how how they want to be "portrayed" after they see the finished product of a first season. It also must be very disruptive having the cameras in the gym and at competitions all the time, no matter how wonderful the camera crew are.
