Part of me doesn't even want to comment on this ep or this show because I just don't want it to get any more attention. The other part of me is flabbergasted right now by the gym owner's behavior.

I get that more focus on the kids. Believe me, I get that. The first year of something new is always the toughest to find where to correct etc. I think you will find that the end of last competitive season shows which begin airing Wed will give you a little sigh that slowly things are changing.

So far 90% of the show has focused on the parents, 5% on the owners screaming kids and 5% HAM (as quoted by your parent) cheer. Nothing has changed...

Did y'all hear that little blip that the new coach is going to make the parents stay out of the gym on next show? Hmm. Guess there can just as easily be drama in the parent room. CP stayed up too late watching, but we had fun. She was reading the Twitter feed, too, some on my ipad. I do think Cambree is a QT.

Yikes. This episode killed a few brain cells. "Theres National Champion jackets that say National Champions on them, only for National Champions!" Well, you don't say?

I want to pull for them...when the announcement for their level 5 team went out I was like :cheering: Then I saw the video and was like :eek::oops:. Then a flyer went out on IG about booking the coaches for flying and tumbling clinics...they had Cassadee and Cambree listed as "assistant coaches". Are you f'ing kidding me? If I spent money for my kid to have a clinic and found out an 8 year old was "teaching" I would flip my sh**. So as their "booking" person...stop listing those two children as "coaches". It was about that time my faith in CTR was lost.
I'll be honest I do talk to some of these moms online. I hate to say this but in the case of one of them her attitude is pretty much true to life.

This is why i found myself on the Fierceboards less and less, everyone who has been on here a while is very quick to judge and i'm not suprised if newbies get scared away, its a forum online not something you are going to die over, If someone asks a silly question (for example) 50 of ya'll do not need to come and attack, agree or not it is a form of cyber bullying. This person who started the topic is not asking you for advice on how to run the gym, if they didn't know how to run a gym CTR would of closed along time ago, i assume the point of this topic is asking how to make the show appeal to a wider audience. (RANT AIMED AT THE FIRST PAGE OF THIS THREAD)

I agree that maybe somethings related to cheer could be portrayed a little better on here however, the producers aren't the presidents of USASF therefore they are new to cheerleading just as CTR are new to reality tv. Cheer on CMT and cheerleaders online are great shows for portraying cheerleading, however TLC specialises in reality drama, cheer has not be renewed for a new season (as far as i know don't quote me i could be wrong) but i can pretty much imagine the main audience were already allstar cheerleaders. Cheer perfectiom has a wider audience because of the entertainment factor, the producers did not set out to create a documentary, thats what needs to be understood here. (And for all those questioning about the reality factor, no reality shows are filmed realisticly then edited in the exact order, a lot of it has been manipulated in all shows)
