i know! i know a gym that lost a LOT of level 5 athletes, then the gym down the street said that if those kids that left came to their level 5 team at their gym, the would get free tuition and dues!!I don't really know if you consider this bribing but I know of plenty of gyms that offer 50% tuition decrease if a child has a full. 100% tuition decrease of they have a double. It may work for some gyms, but to me that's just signing yourself up for trouble. What happens if a child with a double gets injured? Or gets a mental block? Their parents suddenly have to start forking out more money because they lost skills?
And maybe it's just me, but I don't consider level 5 cheerleaders any more special than level 1,2,3 or 4 kids.
Can someone bribe me please? Cp did her full on tumbl trak! Can I get, like, 25% discount? 10%? A free tee? ;)
I know some may think that this is far fetched but I can assure you that there are gyms that do this!! Not saying whether its good or bad but yes it happens!! My old Marine Corps recruiter did the exact same thing, even though my experience in the Marines was great, the things promised to me was not made good on!!;)
Every single kid at Stingrays is paid $50 dollars every month to attend our gym.
We've had plenty of threads about the equality of having boys cheering free on elite teams, but not girls. I'm sure it goes on..do I think it can cause resentment if the boys don't make up for it somehow (some boys who can't afford it are allowed to work it off), absolutely.
