Makenzi Swicegood, former Cheer Athletics Cat/Jag/Panther is in a national commercial as the cheerleader in the new T-Mobile ad! She was on the team that won the very first USASF World Champion team. Go Mak!

I wish she could have done something in the commercial
I agree. They had her tumble, jump, do motions, etc. for the audition, but didn't end up using any of it. Overqualified doesn't even begin to describe it. We are excited because it is a national commercial, though. She has been on Glee a couple of times, too. (She was in Aural Intensity, Sue's competition team.)

No way! I will now proceed to stalk videos looking for this girl! I love glee!

Mackenzie can do it all.. OMG I remember watching her base, fly and tumble.. but her best asset is DANCING.. She can work an eight count.. I think she was also on the Dallas cowboy cheerleaders. What an incredible cheerleader.

Now that I know I've seen that commercial a dozen times and I watch her every time.

She has a pretty impressive resume, actually. She won NCA multiple times with Jags & Panthers, she won Worlds in 2004, she even won NCA twice (at two different schools) for her HS teams. She won Best Cheerleader at NCA Individual Nationals. To this day, she is still the best performer we have ever had in our program's history.

She then went on to the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders where she was part of the squad for 4 years (two as a captain/group leader) She also toured multiple times overseas with USO as part of the DCC show team.

All of that makes her MORE than qualified to shake a pom and be pretty while she looks at the T-Mobile girl.
