So my respect level for Cali coaches and gym owners was zero yesterday. Looking at twitter today, it has gone to negative. Clearly something is amuck in SMOEDville, and bad enough that the athletes are spouting, but the coaches really should check themselves. No clue what the issue is - maybe they are trying to stir up more drama for their show, but they are making themselves look like a bunch of hypocritical idiots. They should remember that God sees all ;)
so i now know what tweet your referring too, but am i missing something cause i havent seen anything negative from athletes. then again i dont have a twitter and can only recall two names from that team.
but now that i think about it, the show as whole can really bring nothing but problems after awhile, anyone who has ever appeared on reality tv doesnt always have the best experience from it after a few seasons, etc. except maybe the kardashians, they are the only ones banking from it.
season 1 and 2 were great, but maybe now that people arent praising them as much, season 3 might be their last..... who knows

I'm trying not to, but your owner doesn't seem to be taking the high road either and has allowed all of this nonsense and athlete bashing to happen. I am disappointed. I very much respected Cali as a program, but they messed with kids that I know are good kids and that is on the program.

I guess I'm not seeing what Tannaz tweeted that you're referring to.

I'm so sick of the "you don't know us" statement. You can't be on a reality show and then get pissed when people give their opinion on what they see! What kind of logic is that?
YOU signed up for the show. If it's not representing you correctly then cut your losses and wrap it up!
Makes sense to us but seems like most who leave are deemed quitters, told they can't handle the program, they can't do the workouts...

I have a feeling tyler leaving may be something to do with college I looked at twitter and instagram and there are tweets about OSU so maybe but then again I think it is going to be the same as the jenee situation we are not just going to know what exactly happened and we just need to move on and hope SMOED will move on as well

Some of the things that were said just make my head spin. I saw a smoed alumn say that an (unnamed) program was undeserving of all of their wins and success... Come on, take a piece of humble pie sweetie, smoed was not always the team to beat. The curiosity in me looked around a little to see what happened but I couldn't find anything slamming smoed. Defending your team is one thing, attacking programs and allowing this to spin out of control is another. As a coach, even as an adult, you should not allow yourself to be so emotionally charged in such a public way.

i havent seen any programs called out. did see a tweet about programs in general but not specifics, so im a bit confused about that

i have seen some salty tweets about people needing to be winners or needing to go home in order to be on smoed or how the people who stick around are the worthy ones. people usually give what they have received. of course, no one knows the whole story except the people involved. whatever the case, the walking deads new episode is more interesting to me right now... gonna go watch that instead.

The same thing was happening last year with athletes being rude on Twitter and just posting some really rude and ignorant things! I ended up unfollowing all of them and it actually disgusts me that there is no social media policy. If I was the owner some of the athletes doing the bashing would be warned and then removed from the program but clearly they don't want to lost athletes.

Not saying that Cali is a bad program at all but I think Eddie and Orby need a reality check, and the fact that the owner clearly isn't wanting to give said reality check is an issue in itself.

If we ever bashed a program or other teams and our coaches heard about it we could be removed from the program.

I don't understand what tweet everyone's talking about. I'm always so bad at guessing what people are talking about when they beat around the bush discussing a certain tweet/person/program/event. I feel really stupid. Anyone wanna PM me? Or maybe just flat out say it? :P

Anyways, certain people on Smoed have shown their true colors over and over on social media when things happen or people leave. First Jenee's leaving and now this. I hate judging an entire program on individuals but it's hard not to sometimes. Deep down I know not everyone on the team or involved with Cali are like that but athletes represent the program. Coaches represent the program. The owner represents their program. So be careful what you say because it will come back to your program.

See this is why I admire certain programs like Rays. They are so classy and I never see a subtweet/negative posting/whatever from an athlete, parent, or coach. Some programs restore my faith that there are still classy programs out there who are installing great values and manners in children and take downfalls in stride. Rays, keep doing what you're doing. I love you. Things like that do not go unnoticed! I can't even begin to say how much I respect your program. I'd also throw woodlands in there, too. Probably T&S too. I love you all.

one thing I'll say regarding the show is that there only so many times you can blame editing. I stopped watching the show in the middle of last season. I tried to watch this season, but things people say it just erks me. I'm with @Eyes On The Prize I never know who or what everyone is talking about. And my research skills sucks when it comes to finding tweets.

I know it's wrong to judge a program based on the behavior of a few athletes but after the worlds 2013 aces incident I lost a lot of respect for Cali as a whole... Which is sad because their routine was one of my favorites that year. It's hard to respect a program when they clearly have no social media policies, or just don't follow through with them.
