Sooooo as a distraction @AliciaM my parents are from Ghana! Nice to see people rep the Gold Coast[emoji136]
That's awesome! Most of my stepdads family now lives in the US but my stepdad had a midlife crisis when his mom died in Ghana. He inherited everything and moved back. It was the main reason why my mom and stepdad divorced. He wanted us all to move and my mom wasn't having it.

Kind of glad we didn't either. I miss him a lot and he's remarried and happy but I have health issues that would go unresolved and not treated properly if I didn't have the specialists that I do.

Well he/she's 19 negative ratings away from taking the top spot for "User with the most negative rating". Would that work?
Haha yes, but for some reason I feel like he/she would be proud of that.

When there are multiple people saying the exact same thing about "you" (obviously not you you) on multiple threads, there's only one common denominator.

and some might say that a koolaid joke/reference is insensitive to the 300 kids, who were murdered, and 600 adults, who commited suicide, some forcibly, at the jim jones compound, since thats where koolaid reference originates from. not me though, since im not ultra pc. theyre offbeat digs, at me, and the remark has nothing to do wih murdered people. its meant to belittle the counterpoint that i made. not that im complaining, since i dont have a spine made out of sponge.

The reference predates my birth by 8 years so I actually didn't know how that reference came to be. Now that I know it's referenced to, I actually won't use it again.

Don't worry, I totally understand. I love Ghana and our culture, but I'm too 'English' to live there full time. Maybe one day. Right now I find the gulf between the rich and the poor way too uncomfortable.

Back on topic: Maddie is a gem. She seems keen to learn and keeps herself out of drama.

When the show was in it's first season I really loved smoed but as the show has gone on the love has pretty much disappeared. With all the drama and the attitude of the coaches and some athletes I just can't support this team. Am I going to hope and pray that smoed falls or does terribly? No, I just think it's time for a new small coed champion.

Then I wish you the best of luck. Always follow your dreams.
