wrong postgood assumption...
In seeing social media feeds, I see only a handful of teams practicing in any significant capacity. It would be wise to make everything virtual this year - EVERYTHING

our gym is scheduled to go Philly in Mid February for a comp.So Philadelphia, PA has just banned all large gatherings until February 28, 2021. I am going to go ahead and assume cheer comps are included in this.
Not anymore you aren't. All large events canceled in Philly through the end of February.our gym is scheduled to go Philly in Mid February for a comp.
We will be lucky if any happen ......Not anymore you aren't. All large events canceled in Philly through the end of February.
That is just such a desperate move and sad to see (still) the lack of recognition that the issue is so much bigger than stunting! Please come up with options for virtual comps, push the season or just make it a working season for many. I can't travel to a comp if I need to miss work due to 14 day quarantine when we return so whether it becomes a dance competition or gymnastics competition is not the point. Grrr.Soooo USASF is considering a “non building devision”

if covid is still around in 2021 there wont be any comps for any division,,,,,,,,,so its not neccesary!!!If it’s just because of Covid and for a season or 2, I get it. I’d assume it’s mostly to try and give gyms something to offer competitively for a season or 2.
If it’s permanent then it’s crazy talk. But even with our tiny 6 active cases for a population of 1.3 million we are only allowed 10 minutes of stunting per day. A non building option to compete doesn’t sound half bad to help keep gyms doors open
