I am so confused...I started reading this about an unfortunate situation in Georgia...then suddenly I am thrust into some sort of Chicago turf war?! My ancient, addled brain can't handle this much confusion. ;)

Wasn't a turf war. Someone from my gym made some posts regarding another local gym and owner named in the thread. I referred them to the handbook about what they were posting. And then we all popped popcorn and I won the award for the most childish answer of Ditto. LOL.

I was far behind in this conversation and just caught up. Once again, I suggest that there should be a waiting period before newbies can start doling out negative or positive ratings. It is easy to see that some are here with one agenda only.

To clarify, because I feel there is a misunderstanding of my initial intent, in our code of conduct we agree to not gossip, spread rumors, disrespect etc - both on social media and in public - regarding OTHER gyms. Especially when using handles identifying our gym itself. Hopefully that makes things more clear(er than mud) ;)

Totally get it, our gym has similar. That said, sometimes you gotta let people do their own thing ya know? I am sure your gym is on here and can let her know directly if she violated their policy. Or you could try reaching her privately through dm...

I've rocked a lot of boats in my years in social media. I'm very glad that Happy (ACE owner) never once told me what to say. He did yell at me for revealing something about an acquisition that he didn't want public yet (I misunderstood something he had said), but that was it. And I have used the gym in my screen name across multiple platforms for a lot of years. Also, I've never hidden my identity so I had to own everything I said.

With all that said, I understand a gym wanting to request some decorum from their clients. They don't have much other than voluntary control.

Because you just pop up to call her out. Clearly you have an agenda, and anything said by people with agendas should be taken with a grain of salt.

I have never accused anyone of lying here without any evidence and I don't have any stake it this. Yep, I post a lot here. I enjoy the discussions. Lots of people do. That has nothing to do with the discussion at hand. Do you have proof she made it up? If so, I take it back. If not, statement stands.
