All-Star Decrease In Worlds Bids

Need to expand that question out. The people who pay USASF?

Well does the consumer parent pay the membership fees or does the gym? Are they paying membership to a governing sports body that cites amateurism as their purpose? Something else? Are they members of a profit or a non profit? The NFL for instance is a 501 c 6 and received that exempt code decades ago but many politicians are arguing that it should have that status removed and that is for a professional league.

Does anyone know how many Worlds eligible teams will end the season with no bid at all?

My opinion: Worlds isn't too big . . . the venue is too small.

Exactly! When I saw the venues for the first time, I thought "THIS is it?" It was the smallest venue we had competed at.

As someone who lives in Orlando, if they were to move it but keep it here the new amway center where the Magic play would be perfect, it 15 minutes from universal hotels and about 30 from Disney, along with being in heart of downtown. Realistically from what I know there's only so many large scale hotels or venues that are in very close proximity to entertainment such as the wwos complex. Just thinking out loud though.....

I really like this. Now if we could put limits on each division... that'd be great.

(I heard 92 teams in the small coed division?!)

Small Senior is probably somewhere near the number too. Thankfully, they made the decision for only the top 10 in prelims move onto semi's, otherwise it would be at least 12 hours for each division every day. Those 2 divisions are so big. I always feel so bad for the teams on in the very early morning.

I'm really scared for the small coed team from my gym, we are on the west coast and i hope they do not preform bright and early saturday morning.

Actually I just read they are splitting the at larges into two groups and taking top ten from each group. So 20 will now advance to semi finals :-)
