hmmm I don't think our coaches would try and sway the judges. I think they will fight for what is right.........
With that being said my daughters team won so really the scores don't affect me personally. I just think that the scoring should be done right the first time so there is not confusion!

There is no need for you to elaborate. In all honesty, i have had arguments with coaches about this rubric. The only thing you can argue with is your difficulty if it wasn't correct. If you have a major issue, a head judge will rewatch a video and determine if it was accurate. Execution and timing won't be changed after it is decided. The issue is that this rubric lives little room for interpretation in terms of difficulty. It is very easy to miss 1 person doing a certain skill which changes your difficulty score. It doesn't happen often, but that can be the case.

All of the USA! Allstars teams : Baby80s - tiny 1,Dynamites- mini 1,Evolution - senior 1,Sparklers-tiny 1 exh,
Triumph- youth 2 ,Platinum- junior 3, Envy- senior 4, Dream Team- junior 5, M80s- senior small coed, and I think the open team Most Wanted performed too. I tried to get them to text me the results but it didn't work. I just want to know where did the place. Thanks

I think as a gym owner and having a team in the sm ltd coed division... I have a little insight.
I called the head judge after I heard that celebs scores had been adjusted and kids on twitter and patents on the boards.. Were saying the beat us.

According to the spirit brands rubric, you have to have 2 jump combo.. Like a double jump and a triple jump or a double jump and a double jump. Celebs did 4 jumps in a row. They spoke to the head judge a said they thought they had met the requirement.

The head judge agreed and gave them another point, to put them in the proper range.
So that brought the celebs up to 301
Big bang remained in 2nd with a 303.5
And m80s remained in 1st with a 304

I agree that the scores were adjusted, but it did not change the placements

The jumps weren't the only thing they scored wrong. They gave us a deduction for our flyer hitting the ground in the basket section when it was the base.

I am not sure of all your teams discussion with the head judge and the EP.
I just know when I called.. They told me that although points had been given back to your
team ( I was told only 1 pt) it did not change the rankings.

The m80s looked great and were very deserving of their win.
