We practice twice a week in allstar, but in high school we were competitive as well as gameday cheerleaders so we practiced 3 times a week with competitions on Saturday and games on Friday nights.
Right now my team is preparing for Worlds which is about 2 weeks away so we are practicing 6 days a week, twice on saturdays, and each practice being anywhere between 2-4 hours long. AKA Worlds Mode!!! It may seem intense but it's all worth it in the end!
The Varsity team where I cheered practiced very long hours. We practiced Mon-Fri from 1:30-5:30. I now coach a recreation competition team and we practice 2 days a week, practiced running 1 and a half hours.
traditionally our practices are 7 to 9 mon. and wed. however with worlds mode, practices are 7 to 10 mon wed and thur, plus additional tumbling and weekend practices,
Twice a week, three hours a day - 1 hour tumbling & 2 hours team... when she was on two teams it was double that! Plus highschool cheer (daily practice)...
For school I practice twice a week for 1 and a half hours each practice, have tumbling for 1 hour each week, and when I did allstars I had it twice a week for 2 hours each.
2 hours a week group stunt, 2 hours a week partner stunt and 8 hours squad training :) and that isn't even in comp season mode yet, so I worry about when season kicks in haha!
