They did not only have issues with the pyramid, I remember two problems with stunt sequences (Can't remember if they were falls or bobbles).

Chinese Taipei had a few mistakes as well, but not as many as USA. Their end pyramid came dangerously close to crashing as well !

Maybe a stupid question, but in the rules it says under the toss section that the top person must be caught in a cradle by at least 3 original bases - would that mean that the flyovers team USA did would be illegal?
