All-Star Identical Team Names...

A local team in the area has a level 4 (I think) that goes by Senior Elite... And they are also "CEA" ;)
It throws me off because all their other teams are colors & then randomly, level 4 is "Senior Elite"..

Which team? Like what age/division, etc?

There is a team in Springfield, IL that refers to themselves as CEA (Capitol Elite Allstars) and has team names Lightning, Thunder and ICE (and Reign). That hits on two fronts, being located somewhat in the general area of the two ICE locations.

I think it is somewhat flattering to those programs to have a name worth capturing.

I don't think CEA has the corner marked with the name SE but if I were you my worries would be more for my kids who might get compared to their USA counterpart just because of their team name. Which to me isn't fair at all. I don't know the dynamics in your country or even if that is something you have to be concerned with. Good Luck no matte which name you pick!

I also remember a gym that called themselves CEA in Ohio. cheermeup might remember the details.

Theres another team in Ohio called Ultimate Athletics. They also go by UA and get this...have a team named Dynasty.



So there are 2 gyms with the names: Ultimate Athletics Dynasty.

At LIVE last week an Ultimate Athletics (not IL) had Dynasty and Supremacy(UA Sr 4). I was told there may have been some UA 2010 Dynasty voiceovers in some of their music..

Before I named my program Cheer Energy back in 2007, I googled and searched all over for programs or teams named Cheer Energy. Couldn't find not one example so I used it. Not one year later I saw there is another Cheer Energy program. Idk if they were around before us or what but...Oh wells, it's all gravy baby.

There are so many gyms in this industry that have "extreme" in their music and use voiceovers about the "x" and put their arms up in an X motion.. so I personally dont think its any different..

and when I used to cheer on a Large Senior 4 team we were called Senior Elite

Myself and my coaching staff will randomly throw some of those "dance" moves just to crack each other up. Our favorite one is the "I just got shot" move where the guy falls flat on his back with one leg sticking up in the air. Best dance ever.
