So, bad news, as everyone mentioned, no uniforms today. Some teams wore the mesh tops from Jamlive (my CP's team included) and some wore practice wear. We knew a few days ago though that they would not be in soon enough to be worn this weekend.

Good news, we team moms were asked by the program manager to create two sets of labels with our athlete's names on them to label bags for uniforms and our custom team practice wear. And warm-ups are being distributed starting Monday. As of right now, last I heard, the remaining uniform shipments are arriving Monday and Tuesday and will be handed out at Wednesday and Thursday practices. The teams that ordered custom practice wear from Illusive Apparel will be debuting those in Indy next weekend too on Friday night! Those, at least, have been a very pleasant, FAST process!

I'm not sure how far the talk of discounting the uniforms has gone (I've been preoccupied with a lot of other things lately, as Just-a-Mom knows), but 4 competitions in is essentially our halfway point in the season. The level 1-4 teams have 4 more competitions after this one, and Worlds teams have at least 5. So, while I personally have not brought it up with anyone in the program, I have heard of others that have. I just don't know how far that has gotten at this point.

Just thought of one more thing, since the reviews were mixed on our mesh tops temporary replacements, I have several videos on my YouTube channel of what they look like on the floor in the various colors, from today's competition and Jamlive two weeks ago.

Our gym is having uniform problems too, so I was interested to read this thread. Our first competition was today. We received our uniforms yesterday, and they are horrible. We went with a sublimated look this year. Half of the graphics got cut off in certain areas when they were printed, theres a huge graphic on the back of the uniform that looks like the cut out where a sports bra would be showing (the girls and their families said it looked like a steering wheel...). It's just printed on the uniform all jagged and pixel like on the edges, and the sizes are huge on most of the girls. We are trying to see what we can do about getting our money back, which I don't know if that will happen, and Varsity was going to be our next option, but now I am wary after reading all of these postings... needless to say, our parents aren't happy either. Our girls competed in one of their practice outfits today as well(shorts and a t-shirt).

Was it a small company? I wasn't sure who else was doing sublimated besides Varsity...

xshannerzx that is awful :( you know those people knew they were bad when they sent them too.

Our uniforms (varsity) came the week two after our first comp. coach told me that it was "the norm" to compete very early season in practice gear and although I thought was odd, I did not question much. When it did, the uni fit perfectly. (I tried on and chose the sizes myself. (Well.. Tried them on CP lol) there is a bit of asymmetry on the stoning work on the arms but it is certainly not an issue on the stage.

We have had such a nightmare of a time this season with not GK
We have already had to compete at a competition with uniforms that were manufactured completely wrong- the fabric and design was wrong, then we were told 3 weeks for the replacements, now we are at week 4 for the replacements and the tracker isn't even showing that they have been shipped
We ordered our uniforms the last day of August, and now we have a competition coming up this weekend and I am starting to think we wont have uniforms again
I am so disappointed with them, we wont go back with them again after this, not a chance

Actually, has anyone who has been waiting for not GK uniforms actually received any type of resolution of any type from not GK, other then you will get your uniforms when you get them

Sounds like it's time to see what small uniform company wants a chance to move to the top of the list. Obviously the 2 big ones can't handle the masses so, if your looking to grow your company get your advertising out there now while people are unhappy!!!!!!

If I paid $300 for a uniform and the teams had competed almost half of their competitions, I would be furious. My thought process is mosly financial. If a team has 10 comps, and 5 are performed without a uniform, it brings the cost of the uniform from $30 per competition ($300/10 comps) to $60 per comp! I don't revere a uniform. Just owning it is not enough. It is being used for its intended purpose. Coming through with the order EVENTUALLY is not enough. I would want it discounted for each competition missed. Can that be written into a contract?

I feel bad for the girls that are seniors and had to buy a new uniform that they won't get to wear for over half of their last year cheering.. I would be livid

What sucks is yes you may want to use a different company next year cuz whoever was such an awful experience but you aren't going to be getting new uniforms next season just need a small fill on order. It could take some time to really hit then in the pocketbook
