F5 is full and was over Athletes. I'm sure the kids will be fine on whatever team they will be placed on.

I really do like the name Tsunami but I seriously doubt that will happen. There simply isn't enough male athletes of level 5 caliber to pull off a worlds worthy team. While I truly admire everyone's positivity and support of the Marlins program I think we are witnessing the farewell to Tsunami as we knew it. Many of the athletes who were stand out athletes on Tsunami were already on F5 or Reign this year prior to this new announcement. Regardless the addition of the remaining Marlins athletes will no doubt be great for MD Twisters powerhouse program!
Sad to say but I knew this day would eventually come :(

I am kind of excited about this, although I'll miss the Marlins name, but I feel like this is a smart move for both programs. As others have said, I hope they do keep the name Tsunami around (and Riptide, I like that one too). Maybe they could use more "ocean storm" related things things for those teams.

Actually the team is full by one I believe but either way Im sure we will find somewhere for the kids that come to be placed. The lower levels all have spots as well as supercells. Lets just see where everyone will fall. In the end this was the best thing for everyone

i think it would be neat if they kept tsunami for whatever higher level is formed. kind of like when the whole rays and ga thing happened and they did large coed as purple!

Its great to see the 2 gyms put their differences aside for the betterment of allstar cheer in the State of Maryland. Does anyone know if most of the athletes will transition over?
