stretch your hips and legs a lot, do jumps with ankle weights on, then do them without ankle weights. they should improve as you get more flexible

Do lots and lots of leg lifts, practice your actual jumps every day, stretch every day, jump with ankle weights, and sit in your straddle a lot. ( I sit in a straddle just to do homework or watch tv lol)

Fast leg kick ups! With one leg, kick it up as fast as you can and as high as you can then snap it down quickly! But make sure you kick it to where your leg is suppose to be in a toe touch, not in front of your face. Make sure to keep you chest up and bottom leg straight. Don't do what dance teams do where they bounce into it. Be as tight in your t-motion and don't "body roll" into your kik. Your t should be a little but in front of you and you kik behind the t:) this helps with speed in your toe touch so do don't fall behind in jumps! Also practice jumping as high as you can with just straight jumps! Height and speed help. A LOT.
