High School Nca High School Nationals Vs College Nationals

Does anyone else find it funny that they aren't ran the same way? High school nationals has the music stop and a cheer (or story) is said in between the music sections. College is ran more like an allstar format. Why do they do this and why don't they change the high school version to match the college?

Because until recently college nationals didnt require a cheer like high school do
