They have been making me mad with video this year! Our prelims still isn't posted. Another video mishap was with our prelims DVD. Tthey give every team a DVD of their prelims performance. I pop mine in the computer so my girls can critique their routine...it was LAST years routine. Idk why they would even have that still on their computers. If our prelims video they post online is from last year I'm gonna be very upset.

I'm not as big of a believer/advocate in seperating the two as most. (I believe its possible to score teams properly with them being together) However, do I see the benefit for coaches in knowing exactly where teams gained and lost points...Absolutely.

I think there is a larger issue at play here, but seperating the two might be a step in the right direction. But...if assisted stunts don't even qualify teams for the top range won't teams keep attempting unassisted stunts regardless of a seperate execution score?

I'm intrigued by this line of thought. What are the benefits to keeping one score instead of separating out the two components?

Hit send before I finished. Whoops.

Getting a 7.9 in stunts or an 8.1 in a higher category but then getting hammered with .1 in execution or being successful with a 1.0. Then throw ok deductions.

People are attempting hard stuff because the scoresheet doesn't show them why something is bad.


And why college doesn't follow Allstar time and scoresheet (or just get rid of dance for the time thing) I have no idea.

Also, were you in warmups with a tiny team in white uniforms w/ red and black sleeves? If so that's my team! I was admiring yor Back to the Future shirt during our warmups. Later I saw some of your girls and saw the back, which of course had CBU on it.

It was for their tower pyramid aka 2-1-1, not enough spotters when it had the tick tock element day 1

Congrats on your daughter bethany winning so happy for her and josh! would be interesting if they could compete for team USA partner stunt and have a rematch again martin and fer from costa rica

I really hope people hit tomorrow. Today was just awful. I haven't seen everyone but outside of Navarro no one looked really good. Yes there was talent and yes some hard skills... but gosh... I can't think of a single team I looked at that if you asked them if they were satisfied with how they performed they would say 'yes'.


Well... maybe UTSA. I see you San Antonio.

UofL SM COED was one of the only teams to hit clean and their score reflects that.

U of L small coed did, I had forgotten them when I originally ppsted. At the end of both days there were a handful that hit. But the overall lack of hitting stood out just so much.

If my administration wanted to watch the livestream to understand why I would want to go and compete and see what it is all about it would not have been a good example for them.

Could someone explain to me why UofL All Girl lost? I watched their day two video and, to me at least, they really only had about two mistakes, their difficulty and execution seemed much higher, and overall seemed to just have a better routine. I'm not trying to knock Maryland's accomplishment or hate on them at all, I just don't get why/how Louisville lost.

Thanks a ton, the journey God has taken us on has been an awesome one, ups and downs included. Winning was the icing on top of our finals routine.
