Ugh I hate when people say literally before every word. My friend does that and now she just said "I literally did cry today" and she's the kind of girl who cries all the time, so I don't know if she actually, for real cried or if she "literally" cried.

I literally walked into the library and literally cried because I literally have so much homework... ugh I cannot stand it. Ok rant over.

Lol I was literally thinking this earlier today.

I cannot stand this. We had that train crash here yesterday and a girl at my job said "I'm literally taking that train this coming Thursday. Like... literally."

How else would you take a train...of course you're literally taking it. You can't figuratively take the blue line.

(Aside from that, so what? How does the fact that you're taking at train that <literally> millions of people take every day make you special? People love to find a way to make stuff about them - even a train crash from 2 days ago, I guess.)

It scares me how poorly people speak/write/type.

People from other countries often speak English better than some Americans.

Emojis are NOT words. Don't get me wrong, I love to use them but they should be used at the end to enhance the point of what you are saying. Example: I love you (<3 emoji). The emoji is now adding to the sentence.

Someone help me pick which ones to get...

You are like livin' it up down South.....

the blue ones I guess. I don't really like the white trim on the other ones.
LOL sorority life got to me..

I just ordered glittery teal ones about a month ago for spring break so I got the ones on the left! I'm not much of a pink person so that's why I went with the white trim instead of pink.

So I saw Demi Lovato live last night, and I didn't honestly know what to expect, because as amazing as her voice is, I've never seen her do an overly spectacular televised performance, and our show was towards the end of the tour. Oh my god was I wrong to ever doubt that woman. It's mind blowing how bad she's sounded in her awards show performances, yet sounds INCREDIBLE at the end of her world tour. Nonetheless, it was an amazing show.

Just came across this and thought it was very interesting.
Apple - iPad - Concussion Game Plan
That is interesting. We are required to take a concussion test at the beginning of the year in case we would ever get a concussion so they would know what is normal for us. This year we took the test on a computer.

I hate to burst your bubble but nearly every artist has track playing behind them while on tour. I had a teacher who works at MSG tell me that. I was disappointed. Even when they stop to talk to the crowd and stuff... it's all planned in and it fades out at the end of songs so you can see them really singing it. Not saying they don't also sing, but there is more likely than not a track behind the song

No I understand the use of backing tracks, but it's also rather obvious when one's being used, even when the artist is singing over it. Demi doesn't have the technique many singers do, her voice cracks, she cuts off many of her longer belts/high notes, she sings some of her higher songs lower in parts, and it's those moments that you see she's really singing live. Sure there's a track playing through some of the song. It's the combination of track, back up singers, live band, and main singer that give you that full effect of the concert, but it's extremely obvious when an artist is using backing track to assist them and when they're singing without one, and the difference (especially in an artist like Demi who does struggle a bit vocally sometimes) is pretty clear between the two voices.

But he is also comparing her performance to ones on TV (award shows and such) and everyone most assuredly has a track then. (Despite the fact that 90% of the world thinks Ashlee Simpson was the first and last artist to ever lip sync. )

I don't think anyone actually sings completely live anymore.
