OT New New Random Thread...

Parents, health freaks, or just science nerds... I need your help! I'm taking a class called Germs 101 where we basically just talk about different diseases and microorganisms that impact daily life. It's a really easy class and I have a 100 but they offer extra credit so obviously I feel the need to take advantage of it. We have a class facebook page where students just post articles or other links about related topics. For example: one is about how the flu shot is linked to healthier pregnancies. I don't really know where to start looking for these articles so if you come across any please let me know! It doesn't have to be anything too fancy. Just informational and even slightly humorous enough to give me a little extra credit. Thanks y'all!

I had to do something similar for a health psych class and got all my articles from news apps on my phone. New York Times, Associated Press, and Huffington Post Health are all good sources. Summly and Pulse News are apps kind of like RSS feeds that put all major headlines from different sources into one app so you don't have to search a ton of places. Good luck!

Its basically college abgebra 2 but I havent had an algebra class that I actually learned stuff in since freshman year of high school so about four years ago.

I was in that first semester! Now I'm basically taking college precalc which I took senior year. Me and math just don't really get along.

Alexx take a break for awhile. maybe you can make some hot chocolate drink and just sit on chair and enjoy it. that always help me to be calm whenever i got frustrated with my job.

My professor has a southern accent and he talks really fast. And when he writes on the board his letters are like 2 inches big. I sit in the front row and I can barely read them.

My algebra 2 teacher gets an attitude if we tell her that we're confused or need help. and she's the basketball coach at another school so she never has time to stay after school. only before. and i have a 7 a.m. class so I can't stay before. and she gives us WAY too much homework. she gives us a sheet at the beginning of the section with all the homework on it which is usually 300+ problems, and then the day before the test she always adds more. and it's all due the day before the test. we have a test every week. i kind of want to die when i go to that class...

I'm assuming this is a preliminary performance order and you could most likely get things shifted around or at least try!

Yeah I'm sure it'll change by the time the schedule is finalized. And I'm less worried about it now. If anything well just follow each other through warm-ups. Whatever.

she send a message to us today at 10:00 saying our 2:30 class is cancelled class for the THIRD time this semester which i am paying 600$ for.

THEN sends an email at 1:30 WHILE I AM OUT BECAUSE SHE CANCELLED CLASS
saying that we need to email her our assignment by 5:30

well guess who just got home at 7:30 and emailed her assignment and doesnt even know if im going to get a mark on it.

oh and did i mention its worth 35% of my final mark.

You are just not having it today. Just explain to the professor everything that happened. Show them that it was sent at such and such a time and show then the email of delivery failure if hey give you any problems.

oh dont worry i am and if she doesnt let me submit it im talking to the dean about it because the whole things just unfair, if she wanted it sent in by 5:30 she should have said so in the original email when she cancelled classes.

on a plus side though the notification noise facebook is making right now is making me incredibly happy as its really rather joyous
