Nissan is an american made car....they're made in TN

The company is Japanese though. They probably mean GM or something.

Who do you guys use for student loans? I added my dad as a cosigner to make the interest rate lower and its still 4.5 percent higher with him on there so at this point I literally can't afford to finish school because its so high.

4.5% higher than what?

Anyone have good tips for saving money ?? I've been horrible with saving after paying all my bills (car, insurance, phone, cards, gas) :( I'm sick of seeing little to no and or -$ in my account. I always try but then something happens and I end up back in a hole. I know this isn't good and I want to work on building up my finances & credit!

I'll be finishing school this year and will have to start paying off my loans and pay for living expenses as well, So I really need to get my act together!

Any & all helps/tips would be greatly appreciated!

Make a budget and stick to it. Log each and every purchase so you can see where you can potentially cut costs. That's probably the biggest thing that can help.

Breaking news: The debris found on Réunion Island is confirmed to be from MH 370.

It's ironic how we've long awaited for this piece of news, and yet with this actual confirmation, it has basically obliterated any last glimmer of hope for the families and friends of victims on the ill-fated flight.

This is key. You can have a great budget, but it's no use to you if you don't follow it.

If you have a spending problem, learn what works for you. Does having cash burn a hole in your pocket? Or does a debit card make you forget how much money is really there?

If it's just nothing is left over after bills, put whatever you have left in savings. Even if it's only $1, it will slowly build. It takes time to build your savings. I'm still working on it too!

Did you read about the beach cleaner who months ago found suitcases and airplanes seats on that same beach and just burned them (his job to burn beach trash) because he didn't even think / know of MH 370 :(... Sad to think if those suitcases/seats belonged to MH370 this whole situation could have been brought to the forefront some time ago...

Exactly! Sticking to it is the worst! I think I'm going to try and get an app, and also try and just stick to cash... debit cards are just too easy to swipe, swipe, swipe!

I didn't, but if this is true then I have little hope as to whether we'll actually find out what happened to the plane. [emoji17]

I know a lot of people use the envelope method where once the money from that envelope is gone, you don't get to spend anymore money in that category that pay period. Also what I try to do is soon as a paycheck hits my account, I transfer half of it into my savings account since my work can't do it for me. That way its not like i really ever had it to spend. And if you do use cash, save your change and then when it gets to a sizable amount either put it in your savings account or treat yourself to something you've been wanting.
