I kept doing a double take on the SCL cheerleader and I couldn't figure out why - lightbulb went off, she reminds me of "Marcia Brady". (SCLCoach - that is a compliment, it is a reference to a tv character from - gasp- 40 years ago. That hurts just writing that, excuse me while I place my order for my walker.)

A little off topic, but my goodness, my daughter's team went against the Surrey Starlites when she was on a rec team in Myrtle Beach say around 1999! A part of their routine was like crossing the delaware in a boat!

Ha, we are quite behind in the UK, we're catching up though! Surrey have improved majorly in recent years :)

Am I seeing this right, is she standing outside in the snow and possibly freezing or am I just thinking Norway and seeing things? By the way, I have been to Norway...most beautiful country I have ever been to in my life. Stunning.

I don't think it's taken outside, but It was probably pretty cold, it usually is. I guess that's the skin color you get in Norway when you don't see the sun for more than 6 hours threw the winter ;)

The photo is being built up to be worse than it actually was. However, it was bad enough to make people feel uncomfortable and I respect the moderator's decision to have it removed. I will tell you that, after witnessing it in person, it was bad enough to leave mental scars. (Pass the brain bleach, please.)

All kidding aside, it was an example of uniforms that were clearly new based on the style but didn't work for the movements in a standard cheer routine - they were briefs that rode up to expose too much skin on the derierre. The uniforms definitely needed a skirt to cover what was exposed. The girls were pulling their briefs down whenever they could during the routine but at certain points, especially when you're holding someone up in a stunt, you can't just drop them to pull your uniform out of your butt. (Sorry to be gross, but it is what it is.) :(

I think they will have them for this weekend yes. My friend said they're going for something "different" so I'm very interested!

Normally I like my uniforms a little bit flashy but I LOVE this! So traditional and clean yet it doesn't look old. Very classy. The colors are pretty together too.

I love this! Looks so clean & I bet it looks great on the floor.

I really like the girls uni but I CANNOT STAND the boys. I mean, really?
