All-Star New Uniforms 2014-2015 Season...just Because You Can, Doesn't Mean You Should!

I hope it's just the lighting on those pictures, because I really don't like that color blue. Rays have always been more of a royal blue, the blue on the unis looks more aqua. Love the touch of sublimation and sparkle. Don't hate the strap on the Orange uni, matches the 'V' lines on the arms..

I don't like the RAYS lettering or the neckline on the level 5 uniform. I also feel like the front doesn't match the back.

I also feel like with all full tops, people are only designing for the top half of the uniform and then forgetting about the bottom....I end up feeling like its a sportsbra over a tank top. Like they're still only designing half a uniform top

But I don't know how to remedy that....because on the flip side I'd feel like more design on the tops would be over kill

If more full tops were designed like a full top version of the new ACE crop top, it could work.

Are the Stingray uniforms a prototype or are they the final version? I don't dislike them, but I feel like there's some room for improvement.

I just don't know why they decided to go with putting the level 5 team names on the back. To me, that's really out of character for rays.

I really like the full top. The crop top is nice and I love the bling but the neckline seems like it may get uncomfortable after awhile. BUT the arrow pointing down to Orange bothers me. I just do not like it. I can not explain it. Will all the teams have the arrow with their name?

You ever do that Christmas present prank where you wrap something in a box, and put it in another box, and another...

I'm sort of feeling like their "out of the box" landed just inside another box.

That being said.

I still think they're classy. I'm excited to see a little bling for as much as I liked the old uniforms that was the one missing piece for me. I actually like the sublimation because it's subtle and not crazy overdone. Some people don't get that with sublimation less is more. They did. On top of that, they're sports bra friendly and that fabric looks lots cooler and lighter than their old uniforms.

While I'm not in awe of them being terribly different, I still like them. While I think the "Rays" may get lost not being outlined...let's be serious.... It's Stingrays....it's like CEA. You don't have to put their name on the uniform to know who they are...they could've brought that little stingray arrow looking tail across the front and you'd STILL know it's stingrays.

I like them. Still looks very "Rays" to me.
I thought the front lettering should stand out more on the worlds uni but you can actually see it pretty well in the picture of all 3 of them. And I really like the neckline of that top
Only sad thing is not seeing the whole program in the same uniform

I might be in the minority but i LOVE when the entire gym all has the same uniforms.
Definitely not a fan of each team having a completely different uni.

On full top uniforms, everyone needs to do away with the different color waist band and provide more interest above on the top and below on the skirt. I would have loved to see a solid blue waistband on the skirt and enlarge the white "Stingray" (shaka) a couple of inches. On the top, I would have loved to see them do away with the green band below the "Rays" and have the Rays tail be the interest and divider between the white and blue. I love the sleeves and the back of the uniform.

They did a good job transitioning, they're clean, athletic and look like a Stingray uniform. I'm looking forward to seeing them in person!:rays:

In my experience with the way Rays logo is done in only sparkles- it won't be long until the words completely disappear. After a couple competitions and washing it once or twice, the wording will wash and rub off SO much. Had they put the writing in white, or even green, and THEN put sparkles outlining it, not only would it increase the longevity of the logo but break up the large amount of blue.

Speaking of the blue, I'm hoping its the lighting but the worlds uniform looks slightly more aqua and the whole gym uniform looks more royal blue like they're previous ones. That could easily be a lighting issue though.

I wish the two uniforms meshed a little better too. Being so used to having every team in the same uniform, I expected a little more cohesion between the worlds and non-worlds uniforms.

Overall I think they look nice and with every uniform you'll be able to find something you would want different- especially from a gym that we've come to think so highly of when it comes to uniforms (among other things)

I was undecided when I first saw them but they actually grew on me. They're classy and athletic like the previous stingray unis, but with a little bling and modernity that they lacked before. I'm not a fan of every single feature in these unis but overall, I think they did a great job !

I adore all things Stingray but I cannot make myself like these. Carry on...I'll be over here mourning the loss of their old uni's.
