I like the front, but that back is horrific!
Delete the crisscross bands, make it a regular closed back and it would be fine.
Now it seems like its unfinished or something, it looks a mess.
As far as having a say in uniforms go, i think the process to design would be a mess , if parents were involved.
So many parents, so many views/tastes.
My parents dont know a thing about cheer, and my mom has a very different style as far as clothing goes.
I wouldnt want her involved while choosing designs/looks.
Its different for me though, as we are an adult team and dont have a juniors or below.
Im the youngest at 22.
Getting parents involved is tricky. When I was an assistant coaching a dance program while in college, the head coaches were sick of the parents complaints about certain apparel. The coaches made a poor decision to let the parents design warmups and a uniform. The girls hated the uniforms and refused to wear the warmups. Parents, while their heart is in the right place, don't necessarily understand the difference between uniform companies and price/quality. And, (at least in my experience) involving parents and giving them a sense of power can create problems... especially if they're in charge of decisions regarding their Susie.
