Google “adult school girl costume” (or maybe dont) and you’ll find plenty of costumes that look just like the TG one. Same thing with their karate uniform. Heck some are even less revealing than the TG versions.
I’ve always loved TG, but there are other ways to push the boundaries.
I feel same. Yes other uniforms might show more skin but this outfit, in this setting, communicates something else entirely to me.this is definitely into fetish territory as previously mentioned.
especially with the music video. 'school girl' in pop culture is a highly sexualized character or trope, as others have mentioned in relation to the idea of it being an oft used costume. but adding the knock off britney spears video, which itself was a highly over-sexed pop music video that was the launch for her entire career, puts this on a very gross level.
are we a sport or a performance art? is this Top Gun saying we don't care about cheer being in the olympics someday?
this is a mess.
Yes saw this earlier last night. Tried calling out an athlete saying how they reported their twitter comment to their gym for not liking their uniforms. I really hope gyms arent that suckered into uniform companies to let them call out their athletes. I mean i hope we arent going into the direction that companies think they own gyms cause they provide free/discounted merchandise....Slightly off topic, Rebel social media needs to do better - a LOT better. They are responding to minors with borderline bullying and threatening to report them to their gym for posting that they don't like the uniform. It's the equivalent to a temper tantrum. I am more turned off by Rebel as a company than any uniform they are putting out because of their behavior.
And honestly I don’t see what would be so wrong about the karate uni. Is it something I would design, no, but in no way is it distasteful.Well if you think those uniforms are appropriate, that is your opinion.
But I don't appreciate you calling me a bully.
Bullying is a repeated pattern of personal attacks. That does not characterize my post.
bingo.Unfortunately, google "cheerleader costume" and you will find plenty of costumes that look just like what 99% of teams wear, some less revealing. I'm not sure that is a fair standard.
I generally don't like themed uniforms, but these don't strike me as particularly revealing or sexy.
most sports either max out at the Olympic level, true balanced world competition, or on the pro level where money rules all towards a high level balanced competition. that is where recognition of top coaches and athletes comes from.I dont understand the we need to make our sport an olympic sport argument anymore.

I don’t even care if the back is a bit crazy I love these. AND THE VELVET THO.
