And there is no valid argument for them..
There would be less 'wardrobe malfunctions' during competition. A lot of people outside (and some even inside) of cheer don't like the fact that a 6 year old girl is wearing a crop top. They can also make routines look cleaner and sharper.

So let me get this right you think that the NCAA is wrong in having uniform regulations? USAG is wrong in telling gymnasts how high cut their leos must be? Dance competitions are wrong in disqualifying a team because their uniform isn't appropriate? all because in someone's personal opinion it is all fine? A line has to be drawn.

If that is the case then lets just have everyone compete in bikinis because somewhere there are people who believe that is perfectly acceptable as a uniform. If we have no uniform regulation then a team could show up to worlds in a bikini and compete.

heres the thing how many gyms out there have gone over the edge currently i can only think of 3-5 gyms whos uniforms need to be changed i think the only rule that should be in place is have it written that if a uniform is deemed unacceptable the USASF has the right to ask for the gym to change their uniforms as far as rulings i think this is the only close way to it being fair as its next to impossible to please everybody

or add length the end as far as minis/tinys being in crops do i think its a good thing meh not the greatest but whatever do i prefer crop tops more then full you bet do i think its right to be told what to wear nope not at all

Yes. Yes.
I think that you are very extreme and that makes for bad decision making.

I am extreme? Far from it actually and am not a conservative either and studied policy for 5 years so I know that there is good and and bad with every policy that is made. I just think that teams have pushed the limits and it is now important to set regulations on what these athletes are put into. Showing that much skin is no necessary to perform the skills on that mat.

I would not design it but I see nothing wrong no one is showing anything inappropriate IMO

You seen nothing inappropriate about teenage girls with push up bras in a tiny top? I guess you didn't see anything wrong with the Top Gun wardrobe malfunction at NCA last year that caused them to remove picture from the photographer's website.

So you have a problem with the uniform, so don't put your kid in it.....enough said

It isn't just about a parent having an issue with their child being in it. Some parents may think it is perfectly fine but they go out there and a malfunction happens. When I am watching a team and at the end of the dance 90% of the girls have their skirts around their waists because they are too small it is a bit of a problem. Or when you can't wear a proper bra with your top because the way it is cut then it is a problem. It may not be a problem for a big chunk of athletes and gyms out there, but those that have pushed it so far have made it a problem to the point of there having to be something done. Uniforms are getting smaller and smaller every year. I don't have a problem with the majority of crop top uniforms, even on the little ones, but there are gyms out there that have gone so far that I think there needs to be some sort of regulation.
Heck I am not even saying that they need to ban crop tops at all, just make a length requirement.

i think skirts are a bigger problem then crops lets be honest Ive seen more cheeks and wedgies then any person would want to see and as far as skirts riding up goes its happened on every single uniform i have owned mainly because they were all too big around the waist and butt and not fitted at all properly

I am trying with all my strength to remind us that we do not have a need to change our industry and the way that we are just because a few feel a certain way. I am begging everyone to stop putting up these extreme situations as reasons why the minority opinion should prevail.
If you have a problem witha certain team we should have a process where you bring your concerns and you must prove with reason and fact and not opinion why they should not be allowed to design and wear their uniform.
If you believe you are right let us all vote and see...but do not hide behind you exaggerated "image" concerns. And do not think that unfounded innuendo about me will sway me from doing what I feel is right.
