I will never understand why people still go to the bookstore when sites like Chegg exist. Occasionally I needed a book that wasn't available at Chegg but it wasn't often. My friends were spending close to 500 a semester and getting maybe 50 back, while I would pay maybe 100 total. For books that you really don't need to keep after your class, try using chegg. My daughter uses it to rent her books and she pays around $150 a semester to rent her books for gen ed classes, and she ships them back for free.
She's a nursing major, so she doesn't use this method for her nursing related books that she will need as reference books to use in the future. I was paying $750 a semester for her books and getting $100 back at buy back!! Urgh!!
