After looking on twitter I came across a post of a twitpic that is a message sent to Jim Chadwick. I get it that people are upset, but you are not going to get anywhere cursing and saying cruel fowl things to this gentleman. You are not speaking to some 20 year old kid. Jim is a respected member of the industry. Grated you might not agree with him right now, but to send such a post is not going to help.
If you want to make a change or voice your opinion please try to do it in an organized and respectful manner!

If youre going to mention something it would be nice if you could link to what you are talking about (if not age appropriate then post it in the 18+)....

A bunch of athletes who are directly affected by the changes tweeted a picture that was innapropriate, and probably didn't realize it would be called out on here. I'm sure it was a heat of the moment thing...you really think it's necessary to embarass a bunch of minors' mistake? Come on.

welllll, I cant find it so .. it prob wont be posted and the picture DIDNT show any names or usernames or anything of that sort. It was simply an iphone snapshot of an email with no names of minors.. and LOTS of people were circulating it around twitter... none of this makes it okay Im just saying.. there were a lot of c words thrown around and the use of the word "murder" but I see where your coming from. Your just looking out and thats okay

That is why I did not post the link from the start, yet I do believe that if they are willing to post it they need to be willing to take the heat for it. These kids no right from wrong, I can't imagine their coaches or parents would be happy with the post. Social media does not allow for a lot of privacy and them posting it put it out there for people to comment weather they agree or not.

Just because someone posts something doesn't make it your job to come on here and repost it. Cut the kids some slack, a sport they've been in forever and are highly succesful at was just changed immensely. No need to make things worse.

He is also ex military. Which in my home is all the reason to be given respect. Don't hit him with the same freedom he fought for.

But that is the whole point, all I am stating is try to have some respect in how to deal with it. I DID not post the twitpic, if I did it would of gotten pretty bad on here. I made the post specifically to address the topic of what to do to get the point across, not what not to do.

As someone that respects the sport I do feel like it is my job to curtail the negative way in which people are responding. As you stated, they are kids, sometimes kids need some guidance and a check on what is right and what is wrong. This is a rough situation, I can agree with you that it does change alot, but the way we as adults react will teach them how to take it.

Yes! Because "minors' mistakes" these days have led to teenage suicides. Now Jim is probably not worried, but the concept in general is still there. People need to be accountable for their actions no matter how young or angry they are.

I understand..don't get me wrong. But at this point it's just completely unnecessary to post what the OP was going to.
