All-Star Rumorville- F5 Going Medium

I was unaware that the majority of their athletes had aged out. I made my guess purely on the fact that Twisters, as a whole, had an atypical (or what seemed atypical) year for them at Worlds. As far as I know, they did not medal in any division. It was hardly a bad showing- heck, 4th in Large Senior is nothing to sneeze at and is worth twice of almost any other division. Just not the results they might have wanted. Hopefully they do what Cheer Athletics did- refine their program, redefine their goals and reset the technique on the whole across the board. A cleaner, more together Twisters program. I'm excited to see what they do.

Medium senior is going to be fantastic.

I spoke to one of the F5 moms at a comp in Baltimore and she said they were losing 13 girls this season. Additionally, Reign and Weathergirls lost a few. That being said, all of these teams will be AMAZING no matter what division they are in. Can't wait to see them!

I'm seriously giggling at the "Well, they'll still be good in medium". Um...Do you not realize who is on the team? THEY'LL BE 100X STRONGER IN MEDIUM. Think about the 7 flyers they have in the air. It's going to be RIDICULOUS. Do I think they'd still be able to hang in large and give everyone a run for their money? Absolutely. But why not be THE standout in a division, like Panthers were in 2012?

You don't know who will be THE standout team or if there will be a single standout team until you've seen the whole divisions routines. Don't count out lady jags, aces, supers, swoosh, spirit, we, peach, etc just yet

i hope lady jags makes it to worlds finals next time, didnt they miss out on it by less then a point or something. cause i actually really liked their routine.

I really don't know how I feel about this yet. I just love f5 in large. I guess I will just have to wait to see the routine to fall in love with them again

I'm not quite sure what you are asking, Reign is still medium coed.

i know this is a thread for F5 but wasnt weathergirls medium senior last season, and wasnt reign large coed at some point i thought. if so that means they most of lost a lot of girls to both F5 and weathergirls.

reign has never been large coed. reign was medium coed and weather girls was medium all girl.

i dont get why some people are so upset about it.. i see it as quality over quantity. would you rather have 5 worlds teams that go for the experience or 3 worlds teams that will be STRONG contenders? not saying maryland didn't, because i think all of their teams were strong contenders last year, but i just mean in general, i dont see it any differently. would you rather have a large all girl team of 36 where say 30 athletes are amazing tumblers and 6 are just to fill up the team, or would you take those strong 30 and have a medium team?.. seems like a really smart business move to me
