I've never sat down to really compare episode to episode, but I can safely say Cali had better numbers. When Cali's Season 3 was cancelled mid-season, their youtube fans erupted into anger. I would say 75% of them didn't have any idea of the real drama happening behind the scenes with Dylan. When NJ popped up, they had a lot and I mean A LOT of hate in the YT comments about not being SMOED and why wasn't SMOED coming back...so honestly, NJ had a touch crowd to break in with. Now clue how a Season 4 will be taken; I have a feeling those in the cheer world who knew the facts during Season 3 are all cringing and questioning, but those who didn't know all of the ins and outs will be excited to hear it's coming back.

If, and I mean a big if, AwesomenessTV could mimic what GymTyme Blink did in their season---I think it would be a good thing for Cali and their reputation. However, after watching the trailer, it seems pretty clear that we won't be seeing any real massive change in the way the comments are edited and the episodes are put together.

I was so angry reading those comments, because kids were saying that Dylan had ruined everything and they were blaming him. If only they knew... I was SO pissed.

i cant see them doing all this to come towards the end and say "nope no smoed show" especially now that both coaches are subtweeting about it, etc.
If it was just athletes tweeting about it, i would second guess the show actually coming back, but considering the coaches have been doing it, plus that released CA statement i would guess that it actually is.

No I'm sure it's totally coming back, rife with as much drama as before. I just think until we see actual episodes we'll continue to see things on social media in the meantime that will fire people up and keep the collective smoed discussion "on top."

Back in the day... before the DI/DII split. I miss that. But I'm glad UCA did that, because I would have a dilemma every year (I'm a die hard fan of both PLD and GC).

I was happy that, injury or no, Dylan got his gold medal regardless of all those folks and heir commentary about how he gave up that chance when he left.

Cole was on the boards and he was and always will be my favorite male cheerleader. He was the funniest guy and I loved watching him on Brandon

I don't understand what they have to prove since they won? Yes they had a terrible season and not many wanted them to win. But they did. I feel like that showed that "Cali is back" more than a new show..

I think a certain athletes is confusing people not expecting them to win, versus people not wanting them to win. I think the vast majority; after the season they had, expected World's to be more or less the same. But I honestly don't think the majority wanted to see them fall on their faces. Either way, I can understand how that may be confusing to a teenager.

Everyone will watch the show! It is kinda brilliant. It was taken off, now it is back. People are hoping for more drama. Really good coaching and cheerleading training tends to be... kinda boring. I know, I watch it a lot. It is fun to be involved but from an entertainment standpoint usually good coaching in any sport is kinda boring. It is slow and meticulous. But drama! Drama is entertaining. And the potential for drama is more entertaining. If something happens on the team someone will come on here and message or tweet about it, and then we will all anticipate it leading up to the show. Then we will all watch the show.

Maybe for some. I know I won't be; I may still read about stuff here because I get bored and read threads I normally wouldn't, but I quit the New Jersey show pretty quickly and didn't look back. I do think the drama of this show will bring lots of people in----but I'm curious, since you said good coaching is boring, how do you think that compares to Cheer Full Out? The only drama that show ever saw was the Dallas weather during NCA weekend and when the team wasn't pulling together right before World's. Hit and fan wise, that show did pretty well.

I honestly hope that Skitz continue Full Out whether it be with Gymtyme or with another team. However I love the way they handle the show because drama free and cheerleading focused is what I have wanted to see for such a long time. Closest I've seen apart from that was the Twinkles documentary way back, however I'm sure that it had a comment in it implying gymnasts are lesser than cheerleaders from someone like Jamie Parrish so I guess even that isn't perfect.

You know what really sucks? Being amazing and having all of the potential it takes to win Worlds, but coming 2nd/3rd to the same team 3 years in a row. I love a good underdog, and that's why I'm a die hard BSB fan.
