We are a military family with an all star CP. There are no gyms within an hour of here and so I am wanting to start a team and eventually maybe even a full program.
I have selected a Senior Level 2 to begin with, since it is open to the greatest number of athletes and due to USASF credentialing requirements. We have a number of local middle and high schools as well as dance and tumbling studios.
I am working to become certified through ACCAA and credentialed with USASF. I've gotten quotes for insurance, gear, camps, and templates for contracts, becoming an LLC and looking to secure a practice location.
I am looking for guidance because I only have my previous experience as a gymnast/cheerleader and team mom to go on. I know what I liked from our previous gyms and what I didn't. I'm also a bit type A and if I am going to do this, I want to do it correctly, which is why I joined Fierce Boards.
Anyone interested in pointing me in the right direction? TIA
