A few questions for enquiring minds:
Is this going to violate the Rays addendum to the USASF crossover rule?
Are they getting bobs or curls?
New uniforms? A Rays fashion statement? I need a picture or I can't live through the day!!!!!!!
will they get athletes from green so they can have 36 on the team? will they change there name to green, because that's what color they were when they were large senior in 08. but they were also green in the senior small limited all girl plus paulbeck. why does green as a name have so many exceptions but gold and other names have to retire...ive read the ray color guide in the other thread, but green changes all the time.
Actually, green has always been the junior 5 team at Rays (at least for the past 5 years that I know of). Just because they change it up towards the end of the season doesn't mean green has changed. Spice will be Spice, just going as a different division that allows for a bid, same thing Green did two years in a row. Junior teams couldn't get paid bids, so why not try as a senior team. They way I look at it, if you get the paid bid, free trip to Worlds...if you don't...there was no harm in trying and they have fun.
Oh, and the year Green was small limited coed was only for a brief period of time. They started out small junior 5, lost a girl, added Paul Beck for a few competitions, then went back to small junior all girl. So Green is pretty much always a junior 5 team out of Rays.
In any event...good like to the Spicers on their quest for a bid to Worlds!
watch out CEA! i hope Spice gets the bid!
