It's lovebug season in Florida and they are the most absolutely annoying bugs in the whole world! But just so you know if you leave them on the front of your car they will take the paint off! So put a few dryer sheets in your car and a bottle of water and wet the dryer sheet and use it to wipe them off...it works like a charm! Safe travels everyone : )

ugh I know...I lifeguard and today was muggy and hot and I was sweaty and the lovebugs were sticking to me -_- longest. day. ever.

Did you know that the "love Bug" was an accident made by the University of FL? They were trying to create a bug that eats misquitos. They actually made the fastest populating bug in the world that has Toxic Blood that basically eats paint off of anything. LOL.... I love people that mess with nature.... not

We went to go to Disney and we had my then 7ish year old cp who is TERRIFIED of bugs. I remember literally dragging and carrying her with her head buried in my chest, still flaling and screaming, through the countries of Epcot. Ahh...the joys of Disney. LOL

The crazy thing is... They don't do anyting but bother. They're Slow and kinda like float connected to each other. Don't have a nasty Buzzing sound or bite... Just float around landing on things. I wish something would eat them. I got an odea, maybe... The University of FL can make a bug that eats Love Bugs.... haha... Nope... JK

wow i cant believe i never thought of that when i lived in florida, they were such a pain for me to get off my car all the time. that and i couldnt agree more that the are the most annoying bugs in the world period end of story.

Just got home from florida about 5 hours ago. No joke, they were EVERYWHERE. I couldnt turn around without seeing one. Even as the plane was sitting on the runway ready to take off, they were climbing on the windows. I suggest you try what @PullandPray23 said....ewwww

Im not really sure...their seasons are sooo weird...they have 2: one in fall and one in spring and its like one day none the next they are everywhere and then all of a sudden they are all gone! so you never know

But just f.y.i. there is a very good chance that while you are here you unintentionally eat one -_-
