OK, i'm from Tampa and lovebugs are not that bad... They don't bite or sting, the worse they can do is land on you, so no need to freak out.

Thank you!!! Ever since reading this thread I've just been freaked about these bugs. I've been to Florida before but never had to deal with them.

Agree with KaroPatterson...lived in Fl for 3 years and while lovebugs are annoying and can strip the paint off your car, they are harmless..no biting or stinging, they just fly around stuck together, being "love-bugs". Just swat them and keep going :)....I hated lovebug season, luckily we are now in TX and I haven't seen on yet! ::fingers crossed:: ;)
