When did they throw level 2 tumbling? I saw fulls, jumps to back, etc.
They had a few guys who could throw a few fulls, the girls had nothing but back handsprings and maybe 1/2 the team (if that, I did not count) did jumps to back. So maybe level 2 tumbling wasn't the correct way to word it.
The scoresheet says in order to get the max 4-5pts:
Standing Tumbling: L5 standing tumbling skills. Multiple skills and variety performed in routine. Most to all of performers attempting skill compared to number on the floor.
Running Tumbling: L5 running tumbling skills. Multiple skills and variety performed in routine. Most to all of performers attempting skill compared to number on the floor.
How did they not score poorly on this section of the scoresheet? Everyone is on here blasting Cali for their synchronized tumbling so why does Bangkok get a pass on tumbling entirely? I'm just curious as to why the US teams are expected to perform at a higher level? They don't do that in gymnastics or any other sport.
Edited to add: I'm not taking away from their amazing pyramids. However, amazing pyramids does not mean you hit the ENTIRE scoresheet.
