In order to maintain the balance of Paid and At-Large bids awarded for Cheer Worlds, the Sanctioning Committee has adjusted the number of At-Large Bids to be awarded per Paid Bid for the 2014-15 season from three (3) to two (2). The number of available At-Large bids naturally fluctuates each year based on the number of Tier 1 and Tier 2 event producer members, the mix of teams at their bid giving events and the number of Paid bids awarded. This adjustment allows for a more even distribution of bids to The Cheerleading Worlds.

So this is interesting. Hopefully by this point next year, EPs won't just be handing out bids to anyone that wants one.
