Question: Tons of rumors going around and I need this cleared up. Ive had no luck hearing back from the USASF!

1. Ive heard that if you hop ship in the summer - You need a waiver based on when you practice at a gym.

2. What is going on with the release rule? Anyone know? Is it same as last year where its as soon as you COMPETE with Gym A you need a release to gym B? Or did I miss something

Thanks.

I think the rule (at least for 2011) said "compete" or registered with USASF. So, since this year all athletes are required to be registered... I think that might be done fairly early which then would mean... if you even breath at Gym A you will need a release to walk by Gym B (LOL! Only IF you are planning to go to Worlds though)

I thought it was "compete" too last season, but still I've heard nothing about this upcoming one.

I would love clarification.

Who have you contacted?

Remember I have no role in USASF anymore, but I've heard nothing about there being a change in this rule.

ACEDAD should have a role with USASF!!! He's the one that keep us in the loop.

Any updates on this rule? Can anyone confirm if its the same rule as last year or if it has changed? The USASF website is not updated.

Does this rule affect anyone other then potential world's athletes? Some kids are trying to change gyms and don't want a hitch in the giddy up come comp season.
