I didn't see any stunts :( Or do they do rounds like michigan high schools?
Jessicalynn said:I was thinking the same thing ... no stunts ? but maybe because they are just on a gym floor and no mats are down ? bu tthen again they still tumble with no mats so i guess i just dont get it
Thats really odd. West Virginia has some REALLY weird rules. You are not allowed to stunt in West VA.
Everything they do on the floor is Legal, and it has been that way for years!! Brooke HS, has been a Strong team since the earlt 80's and Beyond!!! The area they come from, the Weirton area has been a Powerhouse in cheer forever! I grew up in the state of WV, and the rule changes have went into affect since the 05, 06 season, i believe... Allstar teams in the state, whom I know, don't seem to be affected at all. Famous Superstars has a level 5 team, and Ohio valley out of Parkersburg, wv-my hometown, have 2 Level 5 teams! I learned how to tumble on those Hardwood floors, which at the time, I loved!!! wouldn't so much do a cartwheel on them today, maybe a BHSP, nothing more! I stick to Spring floors now:fro: My knees would have appreciated those floors 25 years ago, but that's how it goes!I still can't get over they do that all on a bball court....talk about safety issues

true but imagine not placing your arms correctly in your BHS and cracking your head open, yikes!Tumbling on Hardwood floor isnt even that bad...
