What? Just the opposite! I have seen too many young ladies without the proper "foundation" under white uniforms to last me this lifetime and well into the next!!! The gentlemen on the other hand seem to stand taller and the overall look, from a distance, is so smart. JMO.

i absolutely love maryland twisters velocity/weather girls white uniforms! they look very nice on the floor, but i do agree pale skin with white unis is a no-no and i assume keeping them clean is hard as well

actually keeping them clean is simple as long as you wear a shirt when you eat and be careful. and yeah i try to go tanning so the uniform looks good;)

I absolutely love white uniforms and mainly black ones too. When they are a majority white or black to me they look the cleanest on the mat. I think it was Top Gun's Ft. Myers location that had a mainly black uniform that I absolutely loved because it was clean looking.

As far as white uniforms I love Texas Tech's white one and the Louisville white uniform from 08 (this years was alright but it looked just like last years only white). All star teams with them that I love are UA, SOT (the International one), the white T&S one, WC Ody, Texas Cheer (the white one the international team wears).

White uniforms look really good on the floor. They look even better when the floor is black and the spotlights are on them. They are on the other hand hard to maintain and keep clean during competition. Warmups you have to be completely careful making sure makeup doesn't end up on your uniform. It always helps to keep a tide to go stick in your cheer bag and be an expert at soap & water lol!

I'm kind of biased but my favorite white uniform is my team Maryland Twisters Velocity. <3 other than that SOT and SMOED!!!

i think white uniforms look really good on the floor. they have some sort of "POP"

I love white uniforms! I think that they look great under the lights and show off the other colors in the uniforms and makes them bolder. Also, they are not really that hard to clean or to keep clean, but a Tide-to-go pen is a good thing to have on hand. And definately washing them after every competition is a must, but they wash up great for the next competition!

I have mixed emotions about them. Personally, I don't think they're worth the hassle. They'll look good for a season or two but then they'll start to look dingy like most white clothing does. The stains you have to worry about not getting will be a pain in the butt, not to mention you have to be careful with the material you use to make sure it isn't see through in pictures. Plus, I feel like there are a lot of girls that can look washed out in them on the floor. And while I'm not obnoxiously pale, I'm also not "tan" for the 5 solid months of competition season. For somebody like myself who is against tanning and would rather not be spending 100 a month to maintain a good spray tan, they really aren't as flattering as a black uniform might be. All that said, there are plenty of teams that give white uniforms a fabulous name. Epic Onyx's current uni has to be my all time favorite white one. UA, SOT, Twisters, and TG all did a good job with the white uni's too. They all look good. It's all about personal preference. While I do like the look of all white uni's, personally I wouldn't want to have to deal with one on myself.

I don't mind them as long as they're not all white. I think they should have another color too.

It's true. And on the young girls the sleeves!!! What on earth so they do, clean the floor with them???

AND the flyers always end up with lipstick "kisses" from their bases all over their nice white uniforms!

agreed! we have blue/black/yellow unis. and we have a white part on the back and the lipstick always happens to get on the white part and its hard to get off cause we wear glitter over our lipstick!

With the shorts, i don't even feel comfortable watching. White shorts are so upsetting to me--they' just show too much stuff i do NOT want to see. As a mom, I am just not a fan of those shorts.

I'm not a mom and I 100% agree. I can't imagine ever feeling comfortable wearing white shorts. They're not flattering and there's way too much potential to show off too much. I think that if you're going to wear shorts, you should keep them dark- black or navy.

I think white uniforms look amazing on the floor, both for boys and girls. But keeping them clean... yikes! I had a white uniform my super senior year and I was always so nervous about keeping it perfectly clean. Plus, you have to be careful with washing them, because the uniforms we had would end up dingy looking if you didn't wash them correctly. I also agree that they just don't look as good if you don't have some kind of a tan. So, in short, they're beautiful when done right, but there's a lot of work that goes into them.
