a part of me really wishes that instead of designing an entirely new uniform every 2 years, that they all just updated their original... like maybe that perfect panthers uniform was polyester with zippers and buttons. so you just update it with better fabrics and whatnot. not only would that keep the part of me that hates change very happy, but it would also allow gyms to really brand themselves, i think. i know some gyms sort of do this in their own way, but i wish it was like standard (with the exception of like, trinity-type uniforms. some gyms really just need to start over from scratch)


or maybe i just really wish that about stars and panthers. whichever.

I feel like this is how stingrays goes about designing new uniforms. If you look at all of them lined up next to each other they are very similar only with small modifications but they still look new. There's a picture somewhere...

I must be the only one really liking the CA Sneak Peeks...i think they look good!
Spirit Elite...i don't know, looks weird to me, like a dress with a stomach cutout, not feeling it
 
Spirit Elite's new uniforms are being debuted by their level 5 team at worlds then will be their whole programs uniforms. I'm not a big fan of it, and i think it'll look good on some but not on others. The whole mesh stomach thing to me is not well done and i just loved their old ones too much. All my friends that are on Spirit Elite were excited about new uniforms but they don't know how to feel about this. Spirit will always wear full tops so I think the mesh was some sort of thing to give the uniform more of leg room because i know all the girls wanted crop tops.

Not literally. They are a conservative club and I think the girls felt like they werent really taken seriously as competitive cheerleaders because they're a minority when it comes to full top uniforms, at least around here. They said after negotiating with the coaches they finally said no crop tops but we will do mesh stomach. I'd rather have a full length top..IMO

Ok I guess its just too early for me cause I was trying to figure out how a mesh stomach was more leg room i get it now sorry
 
Bringing back the uniform would be the best thing ever. This is my first time going to worlds and if they did that it would make the experience 100000xs better! I kinda sound rude saying this but since it's Kelsey's and Tessa's last year i think it would only be appropriate to bring them out again. I'm not saying Kelsey is the team but it would just be cool

Oh wow! I own a cheer club in Australia also called Spirit Elite & I had no idea there was an American eqiviliant although our colours are much different. However I too keep things more conservative by having full tops but no mesh cut outs on mine.

Well you can't BOTH be the "only one" :p - I think judging from shimmys and other posts that many people think that. I can't wait - I hate the uniform Panthers have right now. :oops: I think I will like the new ones much better.

Spirit Elite I reeeeeeeeally like. Maybe I am the only one.
 
I've finally located the guts to post at least this much:

I've seen one of the new CA unis. Not sure which one and it's a blurry photo (because the uni wasn't the focus of the picture- it was an incidental shot where someone had it on but the focus was elsewhere). And when I say BLURRY- it's shaded and blurry. You get a vague idea of what it looks like but it's not clear enough to do it justice.
