Twitter rumors say that there are arguments about the wet floor and late competition time between coaches and USASF people...but that's just twitter rumors.

I am a strong believer that the phrases; "could have, should have, would have" have no place in cheerleading. However, if this event is scheduled to be outside, the LEAST that the USASF could do is to be sure that it a) runs on time, b) is over at a reasonable time, and c) is conducted in the most safe manner for the athletes possible. Yes performing late at night is difficult, and teams should practice and prepare for that, knowing that they will be outside late at night. However, nothing justifies awards not even starting by 11:54 PM, the floor being WET, and running over an hour behind. This is the main event of the year. It should be run like such.

Seriously don't know how they did it. I was just going to throw a round of hand springs series at a cold game once and slipped on the dewy grass and face planted so idk how they threw their skills.

For what it's worth, I won't let my HS kids throw anything if I think the track/ground is wet. Not even a cartwheel.

Just because USASF has run late before and we should all be used to it, doesn't make it right. These teams need to stand up and say something, but this entire industry is money hungry. Jam pack all these teams into the allotted days into the allotted venues, etc. Safety goes out the door. What BS with the illusion of safety with these over dramatic spotters these past two days? Come on its all a game and the venues and hotels and USASF, WORLDS etc are cashing in. Thank goodness no one was seriously injured tonight, thanks to those tired but bad a$$ athletes.

I'm sorry but if they redid the entire division tomorrow, that's kinda bull. Nobody else gets a redo. Did it suck? Yes, but it sucked for everyone.
