Good for Cheer Savannah...talk about tough odds...they've been the 1st team all 3 days.
I was definitely surprised that they made it given the first teams always score so much lower.

this makes me so sad, but also curious to see how she prepares them for next year. I know there was talk of her having things purposely go wrong during full outs to see how everyone could react to the adversity, but aside from wetting everyone's feet with a hose and have them wake up for a 3 AM practice, I don't see what else she could have done at the gym.Per CSP's Facebook -
To clarify the events of the evening:
A group of large senior coaches
approached USASF officials and asked for a redo based on
-the adverse conditions of a soaking wet floor
-a huge delay between warmups and competition
-competing past 11:00 pm
USASF has rules in place that forbid competing past 11:00 pm and from
competing on wet surfaces.
USASF decided to have the redo tomorrow if it was unanimous by the coaches.
It was not.
So their decision was to announce based on tonight's performances
We have to deal with the hand we are dealt.
Congratulations to the medalists in both divisions tonight.
You showed true championship character in such extreme circumstances.
That's what winners do.
To my athletes I won't sleep tonight due to heartbreak not at placement but at not getting to see you hit your last routine together on that beautiful stage.
I'm lucky because I've gotten a front row seat to your excellence over and over again this season as have your amazing parents.
I am personally devastated that I did not prepare you better for these adverse conditions.
That's my job and I failed you.

"Booble" is the only thing making me smile right now.
Booble bobble booble. I need more sleep.
Maybe they'll try and practice till midnight fullout?? Lolthis makes me so sad, but also curious to see how she prepares them for next year. haha I was thinking while typing wait how do you spell booble? And I just left it like this...Still don't know how do you spell it to be honest.
Wondering if I can make a 20 minute bathroom break to watch the last teams of SS.
