On day 1 a boy on our team got hurt during the routine and we had to go again. We ended up going last for the whole day and large coed division. While standing backstage the whole team was freaking out about what would happen and because we had someone learn his parts in 10 minutes. A bunch of boys from ACE Warriors come up to us and gather my whole team and tell us that everything happens for a reason and that we need to go out there and kill it and they believed in us:)

They're good kids. I'm very proud of how hard they worked this year. Three teams finished ahead of them, but no one outworked them. Just didn't finish like we wanted.

ANOTHER STORY.
Watching Fantasy go on, I may or may not have been a little excited. It's my little sister, it's a big deal, first time in top ten. Well, throughout the routine, I almost knocked over a cameraman twice and got restrained by two security guards I was celebrating so much. I didn't think anyone would realize... then I notice that I have at least 20 tweets calling me out. :oops:

One of my favorite things actually happened after Worlds was over. I took a bunch of pictures, one was of a young man named Josh on Coed Elite. It was a picture of him pointing up to the ceiling, and I just assumed he was giving praise to God. I posted it on Instagram, tagged coed elite. One of his teammates tagged him. He reposted it and his caption said "Left it all out on the floor for you, RIP Dad I Love You" .....brought tears to my eyes.

My friend and I met some hilarious WCSS mums in the queue for Monday tickets on Sunday night. They were queuing for some Odyssey parents and were fantastic to talk to. I loved my first time at worlds and can't even stress how great it was that the many random people my friend and I spoke with were happy to chat with two non-level 5 spectators from the UK.

Also having to return to the Milkhouse for Small Coed awards on Monday was entertaining...nothing like the threat of a thunder storm to get people moving.
