I saw just a flash of this while scrolling IG and before I knew what it was I thought, “Oh, another Rebel uni.” I was wrong, but also not really.

I think it’s the sleeves that did it.

ETA: am sort of actually surprised they haven’t touched on a trench coat reveal. Maybe next year.

I don’t get the point of themes..but I also use to go to a gym that didn’t do the whole theme thing

I’m going to show my age by using this reference but themes and the matching uniforms aren’t a new trend. Georgia Allstars had them for years. Their wedding routine with veils bows were iconic along with there doctor and nurse routine.

I coached at CheerVille and our theme is villains but we didn’t do costumes every season or like paint a child green every competition. One of my favorite themed teams is The Plastics and of course they have Mean Girls voiceovers and music. Which is about all I can handle for a theme lol

Sharks when they very first opened gave that option. you could buy your uniform or "rent it" might depend on the team/though and may not still be the case.

So I've been lurking since COVID hit since I don't really have much to say and I'm retired anyways. Plus the tapatalk app on my phone is bugged. But I could not help but comment on some of these uniforms...

Mainly Lady Lightning. I actually spoke, out-loud, alone in my house, "Oh no.... nooooo." Like someone said earlier, I get it's a tribute to health care workers and all, but what's happening is not glamorous at all. It is too much.
[ETA: And going to an ambulance and what looks like a hospital to take photos..? I don't necessarily find it wrong or want to side-eye it, but it doesn't sit right either...]

Lady Jags... I feel like the bra brigade has pretty much abandoned all hope at this point, but I just cannot deal with the little keyhole in the front top part. I would be so uncomfortable if I had to wear that uniform.

But, I do love Cali's TNT uniforms. Definitely one of my favorites I've seen this season.

I really don’t like the removable sleeves. Especially not on uniforms with shorts vs a skirt. It really looks to me like they’re trying to get extra use out of their practice wear. Except that I’m betting it is still uniform prices.

i dont like the lace on the arms. Although i LOVE the skirt details. But is this for level 5 or program wide, cause it almost looks a little to low cut for me in the bust area.
