I would say in some instances when you hit a wall, it takes the right coach to get inside the athlete's head and bring out whatever it is that's preventing them to get thru the wall. Especially if the athlete has the skill but becomes apprehensiive to throw it. It's a confidence thing and it could be something as simple as someone just pushing the right buttons on the athlete and helping them get in the right frame of mind to overcome the mental block.
