Not to weigh in on anything one way or the other, but my suggestion to you (being new) is to read through pages and pages of threads to get a feel for the personality of the board. One of the first things that should jump out at you is the tendency for people to correct grammar. I probably did nothing but read threads for two or three months before I ever posted, and when I did that I think I edited and revised it two or three times for grammar and tone before I posted it.

I still do that.

Just a suggestion.

I'd also add, I don't consider correcting grammar "bullying" or I need to go fire every English teacher in my building. The increasing tendency to apply the "bullying" term to absolutely every situation in which something is said that is not positive is eroding the significance of authentic bullying. People say negative things to me every day, present me with criticism (constructive or otherwise) and I don't consider it "bullying." Sometimes its just something I don't particularly want to hear...but it doesn't make it any less legitimate to have been said.

12stepCheermom thank you. Everyone's a bully these days. Make a joke--you're a bully! Don't like my opinion-- you're a bully too! Comment anything other than sunshine and roses and you're a bully. I guess it's easier than just calling someone an a-hole (but if you do that, then you're the bully--see how this works?). Round and round we go.

I know its been a while but I wanted to let Everyone know that ECN Columbia has a NEW HOME!!! We are OFFICALLY at 7111 Dorsey Run Road Elkridge, and YES if anyone notices the address, the OLD Maryland Marlins Gym is NOW THE NEW AND IMPROVED EAST COAST NITROS HOME!!!! They are in the process of making it all nice and pretty for us to move in as we speak! So if you still want to cheer and have not found that PERFECT team and family PLEASE stay tuned, We are shooting for evaluations Next week and All are welcome! Juba Mykel and Stephaine are looking for Cheerleaders with HEART who want to be a part of a Newly Located STABLE program who is spreading there wings! The kids who have been working out in Frederick are AMAZING and will suprise a lot of people, but can't say much more since the coaches want to SUPRISE THE WORLD!!
